Whitelaw Weber began in 1953, when Toplis Fletcher & Co opened in Kaikohe. Over the decades, the firm evolved through new leadership, new technology, and a growing client base — always with a focus on supporting local businesses and the agri-sector.

Wayne Weber joined the firm in 1993 and became a director in 1996, marking the beginning of Whitelaw Weber as it’s known today. Since then, the practice has grown steadily through expansion, acquisitions, and long-standing client relationships across Northland.

Key milestones include:

• Opening our Kerikeri office in 1996

• Establishing a presence in Kaitaia in 2012

• Appointing Annika Dickey as partner in 2014, and Paul Young as partner in 2019

• Expanding further with the acquisition of Bay of Islands Taxation Services in 2023

In 2025, after 72 years, we consolidated our Kaikohe office into Kerikeri, with Kaitaia continuing as our Far North hub.
