A Chartered Accountant with a heart for kaupapa Māori, Hariata brings experience and passion to all mahi she undertakes. She specialises in working with Pakihi Māori of all shapes and sizes—Māori Whenua Trusts, Marae, Incorporations, Iwi and Hapū, Farms, Companies—you name it, she does it.
Driven by a commitment to purpose-led business, she delivers hands-on accounting, advisory, and educational services to a diverse range of clients. “I just love helping”. Whether it’s compliance, day to day management, capability-building, or guiding strategic direction, she’s all about practical solutions that uplift whānau, whenua, and kaupapa.
Hariata currently sits in governance roles within the rohe and is deeply passionate about the role governance plays in shaping resilient, thriving organisations. She believes good governance is one of the most powerful levers for positive impact in our communities.
