Welcome to our Kaitaia office.

Kia Ora.

With its humid sub-tropical climate, agriculture and horticulture has continued to expand alongside its tourism offerings. We have seen the economy grow and enjoy meeting new clients every week. We have also been excited to see government invest in the area, through the Regional Business Partner Network as well as funding from the Provincial Growth Fund.

The Te Ahu Centre is a multi-purpose community asset and a favourite of ours for running business seminars.

Choosing a local Kaitaia accountant has advantages - our local knowledge cannot be copied - we’re Northland accountants and experts in Northland businesses.

Most of our 140+ Kaitaia clients are family-oriented people who work hard to create a secure future for their kids and grand-kids.  We like that alignment - together we are working for the same goals.

Our Kaitaia accounting team have two values in common: we put family first - this means having a balanced work life and taking time for family activities. Our second shared value is supporting community.

We know first-hand that running a business and juggling family and personal commitments is challenging, so we see our role as ‘wingman’: keeping an eye on your cashflow, profitability and financial deadlines and providing timely advice to get you to where you want to be.

Kaitaia was originally a Maori village reached by canoe from Rangaunu Harbour via the Awanui River.

Today it is known as the gateway to the Far North - the last major town before you reach the top of New Zealand - hence the town’s slogan “where journeys being”.
